Video recording of automated executions
Video recording lets you watch and download the last 15 minutes of a test execution run.
Review what happened during an automated test run by playing back its recording. It requires specific Orchestrator and Test Manager permissions, and runs on Serverless robots version 2023.2 or later.
You can record the last 15 minutes of test executions in Test Manager. This capability lets you watch and download the recording of a test run.
Note:
This capability is available only in Test Manager delivered via Test Cloud.
Prerequisites
Using the video recording capabilities requires the following:
- The proper permissions must be enabled, as follows:
- Orchestrator permissions - the folder-level Execution Media permission includes the following options:
- View - Allows the account to see job execution recordings.
- Create - Allows the account/role that executes the job to also create the recording of the job execution.
- Delete - Allows the account to delete video recordings from Orchestrator.
- Test Manager permissions
- TestExecution.View
- Orchestrator permissions - the folder-level Execution Media permission includes the following options:
- The types of supported recordings and associated robots are as follows:
- Options: Record and store failed executions (for 14 days), Record all executions (for 7 days)
- The options are available for:
- Automation Cloud Robots - Serverless
- Robot version 2023.2 or later
