Test Manager user guide
Last updated May 13, 2026
While the governed object (test case) is in the In Review state, users cannot edit the object from the Test Manager UI. The Governance tab and the Requirements tab are enabled, but the rest of the object tabs and fields are disabled. The current topic explains how to void a signature and add comments on a governed object (test case) which is in the In Review state, as approver.
These are the operations, users can perform on a governed object (test case) which has the In Review state.
- You can void your signature.
- You can comment without signing.
- You can assign test cases to requirements.
While the object is In Review, the test case is locked.
Signatures can be voided by one of the following user types:
- The user who signed the record in case the record references the user directly.
- Any user with the role referenced by the record.
- Any user which has the Test Process Governance permission.
- To void a signature on a governed object (test case):
- Open a governed object (test case).
- Go to the end of the row and select the Void signature icon.
- In the Add comment panel, enter a comment and select Save.
- Go back to the approvers’ table. The Status column has the Unsigned label against your name.
- To add a comment on a governed object which is in the In Review state, without signing it, consult the Managing comments for governed test cases topic.
