Overriding the execution name format for a test set
Override the project-level execution name format for a specific test set to customize how its test executions are named.
Set the execution name format for one test set. Leave the Test execution name format field empty to keep the project-level format.
Steps
- Open a test set and select Configuration.
- In the Test execution name format field, enter the format for naming test executions. For the list of available variables and formatting examples, refer to Execution.
Result
The test set uses the custom execution name format for subsequent test executions.
Note:
Users with the Test Set - Edit permission can edit the name manually. If a referenced custom field does not exist, the reference expression is displayed as-is in the execution name.
