Salesforce Agentforce & Flows authentication

Prerequisites​

Before creating a connection, follow the steps described in Salesforce setup for the Agentforce & Flows connector.

Depending on the select authentication type, you need the following credentials:

  • For OAuth 2.0 Client credentials: Domain, OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret
  • For OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code: Production, OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret
  • For OAuth 2.0 Password: Environment, Username, Password, OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret
  • For Personal Access Token: OAuth API Key, OAuth API Secret, JWT Base64 encoded key, Audience, Issuer, Subject
Note:

Salesforce Agentforce supports only OAuth 2.0 Client credentials authentication. Salesforce flows support all authentication types.

Add the connection​

To create a connection to your Salesforce instance, you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Select Orchestrator from the product launcher.
  2. Select a folder, and then navigate to the Connections tab.
  3. Select Add connection.
  4. To open the connection creation page, select the connector from the list. You can use the search bar to find the connector.
  5. Select the Authentication type.
  6. Enter the required credentials for your preferred authentication type.
  7. Select Connect.
