About the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry connector

Azure Foundry AI agents are autonomous AI software designed to achieve specific goals by making decisions, using tools, and integrating with external knowledge and services. These agents serve as the foundation for goal-oriented automation, moving beyond simple assistants to act independently to complete complex tasks.

Note:

This Microsoft Azure AI Foundry connector only supports Azure AI Foundry classic agent endpoints.

This integration is only available for workflows created in UiPath Maestro^TM, using the Start and Wait for External Agent action.

Note:

This connector is built by UiPath and receives official support selectively. The connector supports a limited set of commonly used APIs for the target application and may cover most typical use cases. Also, they are retained in a stable state until the requirements for a new version release are met. Learn more

Before automating processes, you need to establish a connection with your Microsoft Azure AI Foundry instance. Step-by-step instructions are available in the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry authentication page.

Events

This connector does not support events.
