Generate a pre-drafted, AI-generated email summarizing a loan's confirmed issues and follow-up items, then edit and send it to the loan officer, borrower, or appraiser.
After completing a loan's review, reviewers can generate a pre-drafted email that summarizes the confirmed issues and items marked for follow up, and send it to the loan officer. Depending on the contents of the email, reviewers can send it to the borrower and appraiser, too. The email is AI-generated from the loan's review findings and is fully editable before sending.
Prerequisites
- You are a member of the Business User Group and have access to the Loan Setup application.
- The loan you want to notify about has confirmed issues or items marked for follow up recorded in its review findings.
Steps

On the loan detail view, in the header, select Generate email.

In the Email issue report dialog, specify the following details:
- Send to: select whether the email should be sent to the borrower, loan officer, or appraiser.
- Include in email: select Confirmed issues or Items marked for follow up to include either one or both types of information in the pre-drafted email.
Review the AI-generated subject line and email body, and edit the subject or body text as needed to match your institution's communication style or to add context.

To copy the body text to the clipboard without sending, select Copy.

Select Send email to send the message, or select Cancel to close the dialog without sending.
If no mailbox integration has been configured for your deployment, use the Copy buttons next to the Email field to copy the content to your own email client.
Result: The issues email is sent to the loan officer if mailbox integration is configured. The loan's activity timeline is updated to record that the email was generated.
