About the Microsoft Power Automate connector

The Microsoft Power Automate connector allows you to invoke flows and insert records into Power Automate flows, enabling deeper automation scenarios directly from UiPath®.

This integration is only available for workflows created in UiPath MaestroTM, using the Start and Wait for External Agent action.

Authentication

Find out more about how to create a connection with your Microsoft Power Automate instance from the Microsoft Power Automate authentication page.

Events

The Microsoft Power Automate connector does not currently support events.

Activities

You can use the connection to invoke a flow or insert a record into Power Automate. For a full list of supported activities, visit the Power Automate activities page.

Frequently asked questions

What trigger type should I use when creating a Power Automate flow for UiPath integration?

Use a manually triggered flow. Agent-based triggers and other trigger types are not supported.

Which account should I use to connect to Power Automate?

Use the default account when creating a connection. We are currently working with Microsoft to investigate compatibility issues with other account types, such as Developer accounts.

What action must the Power Automate flow include?

The flow must include the Respond to a Power App or flow action and must return output data. Without this action, the integration cannot retrieve results.

How long does it take for the workflow to complete after execution in Power Automate?

Expect the workflow to complete within 3–5 minutes after execution in Power Automate. Completion is handled via a backend trigger, so there may be a delay before results are returned.
