Connect with Google Workspace Scope

The Google Workspace activities establish an authenticated connection to a Google application via the Google Workspace Scope activity.

Inside the Scope activity, you can use both classic activities, as well as Connection activities (that use Integration Service connections). When using Connection activities inside Google Workspace Scope, they inherit the authentication from the Scope. See How to use Google Workspace activities without Integration Service to learn more.

Authentication options

In Google Workspace Scope, you can choose between three authentication types:

  • OAuth Client ID
  • Service account key
  • API key

OAuth Client ID

With this authentication method, you have the option of selecting an OAuth Client:

  • UiPath - Uses the UiPath public app, which comes with a set of predefined scopes.
  • Custom - Uses a custom application you set up in Google Cloud. You can customize this app with only the scopes you require for your use case.

To learn how to set up a custom application, see Set up OAuth applications in Google Cloud.

Service account key

For more information on this type of authentication, see Service accounts.

API key

For more information on this type of authentication, see API key.
