Healthcare Solutions user guide
This reference covers the fields, statuses, filters, and controls available in the Clinical Review section of the Medical Record Summarization application.
Users only see the reviews assigned to them by the template owner. If the template owner doesn't assign anyone, anyone in the MRSReviewer local group in the Automation Cloud organization can see the review.
Stats panel metrics
Location: Clinical review → top of the list page, above the summary table.
The Clinical Review page displays four aggregate metrics at the top of the page. All metrics are scoped to the selected date range using the All time filter in the top-right corner.
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Ready for review | Number of summaries waiting to be opened by a reviewer |
| Approved | Number of summaries that have been approved |
| Rejected | Number of summaries that have been rejected |
| Total summaries | Total number of summaries across all statuses |
Review list columns
Location: Clinical review → summary table.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Summary | The filename of the source document |
| Review status | The current status of the review (see Review statuses below) |
| Template | The template name and version used to generate the summary |
| Reviewer | The assigned reviewer; displays Unassigned if no reviewer has been assigned. Supports inline reassignment, including to yourself. |
| Date created | The date the summary was generated |
Review statuses
Location: Clinical review → Review status column in the summary table, and the Status field in the review detail view header.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Ready | The summary has been generated and is waiting to be opened. No reviewer has started reviewing it. |
| Review started | A reviewer has opened the summary. The record is locked for editing by others until the current reviewer completes or releases the review. |
| Due soon | The summary is approaching a review deadline. |
| Approved | A reviewer has accepted the summary as accurate. |
| Rejected | A reviewer has determined the summary is inaccurate or unsuitable. |
Once a summary reaches an Approved or Rejected status, the original AI-generated summary and any reviewer overrides are available in Data Fabric via the MRS2_Output entity. For details on the available output fields, refer to MRS output data.
Filters
Location: Clinical review → filter bar above the summary table.
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Search | Free-text search across summary filenames |
| Template | Filter by template name; defaults to All |
| Status | Multi-select filter for review status; defaults to Ready and Review started |
| Reviewer | Filter by assigned reviewer; defaults to All |
| All time | Date range filter for the stats panel and list |
Review detail view - header fields
Location: Clinical review → select a summary row → header bar at the top of the review detail view.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Summary filename | The name of the source document being reviewed |
| Template | The template name and version used to generate this summary |
| Status | The current review status |
| Date created | The date the summary was generated |
| Reviewer | The reviewer assigned to this record; can be reassigned inline using the dropdown |
Review detail view - actions
Location: Clinical review → select a summary row → header bar (Approve, Reject) and individual section headers (Override).
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Approve | Accepts the AI-generated summary (including any overrides) as accurate. Transitions status to Approved. |
| Reject | Rejects the summary. Transitions status to Rejected. |
| Override | Per-section action. Puts the section into edit mode, where the content becomes directly editable and an override form appears (see Override form fields below). |
Review detail view - right panel
Location: Clinical review → select a summary row → right panel.
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Displays the source document in an embedded PDF viewer. Shows current page, total pages, and zoom controls (−, %, +). Includes a download button. | |
| External summary | Displays content from an externally configured system at the URL set in Admin → Experimental. Available only when the Embed external summary feature is enabled. |
Override form fields
Location: Clinical review → select a summary row → select Override on any section → inline form appearing directly below that section's content.
Selecting Override on a section puts it into edit mode: the section content becomes directly editable, and an inline form appears below the content.
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Reason for override | Yes | Dropdown. Captures why the section content was inaccurate or insufficient. See Reason options below. |
| Feedback for the agent | No | Free-text field. Additional context sent to the AI analysis system to inform future template recommendations. |
Override reason options
| Reason | Use when |
|---|---|
| Incorrect information | The AI generated a factually wrong value or statement |
| Missing information | Relevant information from the source document was not included |
| Outdated information | The AI used information superseded by more recent content in the record |
| Formatting/clarity | The content is accurate but poorly structured or difficult to read |
| Incorrect attribution | A finding is cited to the wrong source page or passage |
| Safety concern | The section contains content that could affect clinical decision-making adversely |
| Other | The issue does not fit the categories above |
After editing the content and completing the form, select Save to record the override (including any text edits), or Cancel to discard it. Multiple sections can be overridden before the final Approve action is taken.
Citation behavior
Location: Clinical review → select a summary row → left panel (summary content).
Inline citation markers appear next to data points in the AI-generated summary. In normal view, each marker shows a plain page number (for example, [3]); selecting it navigates the PDF viewer to that page. When Override edit mode is active for a section, the marker format changes to [p. PAGE|N], where PAGE is the source document page and N is the occurrence on that page. Citation markers are not clickable while Override edit mode is active.
Reviewer lock banner
Location: Clinical review → select a summary row already open by another reviewer → banner at the top of the review detail view.
When a summary is currently open by another reviewer, the following banner appears at the top of the review detail view:
This record is being reviewed by [Reviewer Name]. You can view but not edit this record until they complete their review.
In this state, the Approve, Reject, and Override actions are unavailable.
Any overrides recorded by prior reviewers are preserved for audit purposes. A review remains active until a reviewer approves or rejects it. Once a terminal state is reached, the review can no longer be edited.
