Data Fabric / Data Service is available in your UiPath® organization as a tenant-level service that must be enabled. For step by step instrustions, refer to Enabling Data Fabric / Data Service. Once you enable the service, the Data Fabric / Data Service icon appears in the left rail.
Important:
Objects created in Data Fabric / Data Service are referred to as Entities.
The header displays the following options:
- The API Access icon - opens the API access wizard, from where you can copy the OpenAPI link, or download the JSON file.
- The Manage Access icon - opens the Administration page, where you can assign or create Data Fabric / Data Service roles.
- The Manage Choice Sets button - opens the Choice Sets page, where you can create and manage choice sets.
- The Create New Entity button - opens the Create Entity panel.
- The Search bar - helps you find a particular entity.
- The Import/Export drop-down - allows you to either import an entity schema, or to export the entity schema.
- The Use in Studio button - open the documentation page with details on how to import entities in Studio.
- The Refresh button - refreshes the current list of entities.
To see the list of languages Data Fabric / Data Service is available in, refer to the Language Support table.
The option to switch the language preference is available from the user menu.
