Automation Cloud Dedicated updates

Customer-managed keys (CMK) support for data encryption at rest

You can now use your own encryption keys, managed in Azure Key Vault, to protect UiPath-managed data resources, such as Azure Storage, Azure SQL Server, Azure Disk, and Snowflake in your Dedicated environment.

This capability offers enhanced control and flexibility over how your data is encrypted and accessed. It supports cross-tenant encryption, allowing UiPath resources to use a key stored in your own Azure tenant.

For details on setting up CMKs, refer to Enabling customer-managed keys.

Unified documentation experience for UiPath cloud offerings

We are enhancing your experience with UiPath cloud offering documentation to make it more consistent, transparent, and predictable. With this update, you will find a single, unified set of guides that always reflect the latest product behavior across all cloud offerings.

This new documentation structure is being introduced gradually, starting with a subset of products, and will expand to include more over time.

Consolidated documentation across cloud offerings

Until now, separate documentation existed for each Automation Cloud and Test Cloud offering. User guides, admin guides, and API guides are now being combined into one shared set of guides.

This means:

  • You will now use one shared guide for Automation Cloud and Test Cloud, Automation Cloud Public Sector and Test Cloud Public Sector, and Automation Cloud Dedicated.
  • Each guide includes a Feature availability page, which contains a matrix showing which features are available in each cloud offering.
  • In the unified guides, we publish documentation for a feature when it first becomes available to Community users of Automation Cloud and Test Cloud. Depending on your data residency and tenancy type, you might see these functionalities in your own environment a bit later.
  • The rollout calendar for our cloud offerings typically follows a predictable release cadence across regions. Any feature that does not follow the regular rollout schedule for all regions is explicitly captured in the Feature availability page.
  • Broader platform-level variations, such as product availability across environments, are described in the Automation Cloud and Test Cloud admin guides, which continue to be separate for each cloud offering.
Centralized release notes for each cloud offering

Release notes are now available in one single guide. To make it easy to track what is relevant to your cloud offering and to know the exact moment new features, improvements, and fixes are made available, the guide is organized into separate chapters for each cloud offering:

  • Automation Cloud and Test Cloud
  • Automation Cloud Public Sector and Test Cloud Public Sector
  • Automation Cloud Dedicated
Current availability and rollout progress

The unified cloud documentation structure is currently available for a selection of products, with more to be added over time.

The first products available in this unified format are:

  • Automation Ops
  • Integration Service

You can track progress in the Unified cloud documentation tracker.

What is not changing
  • You will continue to access documentation the same way.
  • Bookmarks and shared links will continue to work as before.
  • The look and feel of UiPath Docs remains familiar.
